love can be compared to many things
a kick in the gut when one lies breathless on the
floor when hours ago breath spoken from words in one's ear made them shiver in
anticipation which turned into anti-participation and annoyance when one was late for their
appointment which was made in lieu of an
argument that began because of a slight difference in
opinion that turned favorable when they were formally
introduced with a bad impression when an accident
occured because they both weren't paying attention
now, what do you compare it to?

Something I wrote on the flight to New Mexico. The girl sitting next to me was reading a poetry book, so I decided I should write some, and did so on the Southwest napkin. And about the placement of the poem...somehow I believe my latest poems are supposed to make you think, or something like that. So, that's what I'm putting it here. If you really care enough, note me or comment and tell me where you think I should put it.
